Announcements 1st June: Feast of the Ascension of the Lord/World Communications

1.     Today is celebrated as Feast of the Ascension of the Lord and World Communications Day. As Jesus departs to the father in the presence of the Disciples he promises them the gift of the Holy Spirit.  May we participate in the mission of the Church and be witness to Jesus. 

2.     The Mass timings on next Sunday 8th June the feast of Pentecost will be 7 am in Konkani. 8:30 am in English and 10:00 am in English.

3.     We began Sunday School and confirmation Classes shortly. A message will be sent out regarding the date of starting shortly.

4.     We welcome Fr. Savio Desales who takes over as Parish Priest of Rosary Church today 1st June. His induction as Parish Priest will be on June 15th by His Grace Archbishop John Rodrigues at the 6 pm mass.

5.     We thank Fr. Nigel Barrett and Fr. Merwyn Dsouza for their services and ministry in our Parish and we pray that Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary will bless and protect them.

6.     Our youth will be setting up breakfast stalls every Sunday after the morning masses to gather funds for the Jubilee pilgrimage to Rome trip. Please patronise their stalls.

7.     Admission to various colleges such as Don Bosco, St. Andrews and Sophia college for engineering, degree and other professional courses have started. The details of the same are put up on the notice board.

8.     The Mass dairy for July to September will open on 2nd June. Those who wish to book mass can do so on June 2nd from 10 am onwards.

9.     June 6th  is the First Friday of the month. We will have a half-hour adoration at 7 pm followed by the mass

10.  The Archdiocese is organizing the Deepen your Faith course for adults from 28th June to 29th November at St. Andrews college, Bandra. This year’s theme focusses on Pilgrims of Hope as we celebrate the Jubilee year. For more details please see the notice board.

11. The collection on  Sunday 25th May was Rs. 28514/- Community fund box collection Rs 4000/ Box collection Rs 4600 /. We thank you for your generosity.
