The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Christian lay voluntary organization dedicated to tackling poverty and disadvantage by providing practical assistance to those in need – irrespective of ideology, faith, ethnicity, age or gender. The vision of SSVP is to be a global catholic charity organization providing aid, development and hope to the poor and the marginalized.
The conference at Rosary Church Mazagaon, which is called the St. Joseph Conference was established in The Church of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary in 1941 and will complete 80 years of its existence. The society caters to the material and spiritual needs of the poor in the Parish and extends to them all possible help.

Activities: The Society of St. Vincent De Paul (SVP) is committed to helping the poor within the parish. They offer support in various forms, including monetary assistance, essential materials, medical aid, and educational support. Each case is assessed individually to provide assistance tailored to specific needs. Currently, SVP extends its support to 10 families in the parish.
