Announcements September 3rd, 22nd t Sunday Ordinary Time

1. Today is the 22nd Sunday of Ordinary time, Jesus invites us to answer the call of discipleship.

2. The Bombay Catholic Sabha Rosary Unit is offering its annual scholarship, for deserving Catholic students from our Parish. Details are on the notice board.

3. To celebrate the Day of the Girl Child, the Women's Cell of our parish is organising a get-together with lunch titled 'Dhanyavaad' on the 09th of September from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM. It is open to all female domestic workers working in our homes. We request all parishioners cooperate with us in this endeavour and send their domestic helpers on this day. For registration and further details, please look up the notice board.

4. On Tuesday, 5th September we celebrate Teachers Day. We will pray for all teachers and invite teachers of our Parish to join us in prayer at the Eucharist at 7 a.m. We request the Parish council members to keep us informed about the number of teachers attending as we would like to provide them breakfast after the mass.

5. The Bombay Catholic Sabha Rosary Unit is organising a medical camp covering Bone Density, Diabetes, Dental care and an Eye Check-up. The camp will be held on 24th September after the morning mass. The registration will be done On Saturday and Sunday 9 & 10 September and 16th and 17th September. The registration fee is Rs 20/- Details are on the notice board.

6. The Parish Council will meet on Thursday 7th September in the KG Classroom after the evening mass. Request all the parish council Members to be present.

7. The youth Council will meet on Sunday 17th September after the 10 am mass in the undercroft. We request all youth Council members to be present.

8. The Legion of Mary of St. Ignatius Church, Jacob Circle is organizing the annual walking pilgrimage to Mount Mary Basilica, Bandra on Saturday 9th September 2023. It will begin at 10:30 pm. from St Ignatius Church and will end at the mount for 5:30 a.m. mass on Sunday 10th September. All are welcome to participate in this prayerful exercise

9. Last Sunday's collection was Rs 29100/- this collection goes towards the needs of the Parish. Thank you for your generosity.
