Announcements 4th May, the 3rd Sunday of Easter

1. The 3rd Sunday of Easter readings reminds us of the joy and responsibility that come with following Jesus. These themes help us reflect on the call to live out our faith with love and dedication.

2.    Those who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in March 2026 need to give their names to the Parish Office along with a copy of their baptism certificates. Anyone who has completed the 10th Standard Board Examination or is above the age of 15 is eligible. The last date for submitting the names is 31st May 2025 and classes will commence from 8th June 2025.

3.    Those who are eligible to receive the sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist in the year 2025-26 need to give their names and Baptism certificate to the Parish office. Those who have attended the 3rd std of Sunday school are eligible.

4.  The feast Mass of the cross at D’lima street will be celebrated on the 5th of May at 8 pm.

5. The Rosarian Senior Citizens are organising aa picnic on 8th May to Gorai, Kindly register with any committee members, seats are limited and all are welcome.

6.    A reminder of the Mass timings in May on Sundays starting on May 4th;

a.    Morning 7 am and 9:30 am

b.    Evening 6 pm.

c. The weekday masses are as usual.

7.    The Rosary is recited in the Church every evening at 6:30 pm. All are invited.

8. We invite you to pray for the conclave that will meet to elect the new Pope. We are circulating the prayer via the Parish Council Members. Please do say it during the conclave.

9.    The collection on Sunday, 27th April, was Rs 36800. We thank you for your generosity.
