Announcements 27th April 2025 Divine Mercy Sunday

1.Divine Mercy Sunday celebrates God’s infinite mercy and forgiveness. The readings highlight themes of faith, healing, and the importance of believing in Christ’s resurrection. 

2.     The Mass for the Easter blessing of water this week will on 28th Monday April for Zone 4, 29th April for Tuesday, Zone 5; and April 30, Wednesday Zone 6.

3. We are organising a special screening of the movie Chosen with a focus on the last supper. This will be at PRV Palladium on Tuesday, 29th April, at 4 pm. The cost per person, including travel to Palladium, is Rs 200 per head. Please reserve your seats with Fr. Merwyn by giving your names and paying Rs 200. We have a limit of 130 seats. You are most welcome to invite neighbouring parishioners and friends. The Last date to boook your seat is Monday 28th by 6pm

4. Those who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in March 2026 need to give their names to the Parish Office along with a copy of their Baptism certificates. Anyone who has completed the 10th Standard Board Examination or is above the age of 15 is eligible. The last date for submitting the names is 31st May 2025 and classes will commence from 8th June 2025.

5.     Those who are eligible to receive the sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist in the year 2025-26 need to give their names and Baptism certificate to the Parish office. Those who have attended the 3rd std of Sunday school are eligible.

6.  The 150th feast day celebrations at the Holy Cross Matharpacady village will be held on Thursday, 1st May, His Lordship, Most. Rev. Lourdes Daniel, Bishop Emeritus of Nashik, will celebrate the Eucharist at 7.00 pm. All are welcome

7.     The feast Mass of the cross at D’lima Street will be celebrated on the 5th of May at 8 pm.

8.  The Rosarian Senior Citizens are organising a picnic on 8th May to Gorai. Kindly register with any committee members; seats are limited, and all are welcome.

9. The mass timings on Sundays from next Sunday are as follows: 7 am, 9:30 am, and 6 pm. This change is from Sunday, 4th May to Sunday, 25th May 2025. Weekday masses are as usual.
