Announcements 19th April 2026

1. The Preparatory Novena Service will be held at the Holy Cross Oratory in Matharpacady Village at 7:30 pm from Wednesday, 22nd April 2026. All are welcome.

2. This year, the Holy Cross at D’Lima Street will be celebrating its Centenary Year. The Novena in preparation for the Feast will begin on 24th April 2026 at 7:45 pm leading up to the Feast Mass on Sunday 3rd May 2026, with His Eminence, Cardinal Oswald Gracias as the Main Celebrant. All Parishioners are cordially invited.

3. We are pleased to announce that our Parish Women’s Cricket Team won the STJC Airoli Cricket Champions Cup 2026 at Airoli on 11th April 2026. The tournament was an inter-Parish event. Heartiest congratulations to the entire Team for this wonderful achievement. You have made us proud.

4. The Senior Citizens invites all parishioners and their guests to Housie, to be held in the under croft on Sunday, 19th April 2026 from 11:00 am onwards.

5. Summer Camp will be conducted by the Youth of the Parish from 2nd May till 4th May from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Please contact your Catechist for the Registration form along with a fee of ₹ 100. Those who would like to sponsor the event may contact Fr. Camrelho or Parish Office. Last date to submit the Registration form is Saturday 25th April.

6. The Singles Ministry is organizing a Meet on Sunday 3rd May 2026 to assist youth to meet and connect, with the intention to guide, encourage and finally join them in Matrimony. For details, kindly refer to the Church Notice Board.

7. Vimala Vikas Kendra, our Community Centre, is need of 10 new sewing machines, each costing approximately ₹ 5000. Any parishioner wanting to sponsor one or more machines, kindly contact Fr. Savio or the Church Office.

8. Any Parishioner interested in enrolling for the Basic Liturgy Course that commences in June 2026, organized by the Diocesan Liturgy Centre, registration is now open. For details, kindly refer to the Poster on the Church Notice Board.

9. The Fathers of the Parish thank all those who coordinated and assisted the Priests at the House Blessings. Thank you dear Parishioners for your kind hospitality during the visits.

10. Fr. Ernest Fernandes who was our guest the last couple of weeks will be returning back to Gloria Church, Byculla. While we thank him for all his assistance during his stay with us, he in turn expresses his gratitude to the Parish Fathers and Parishioners for their love and kindness.
