Announcements 15th June - The Most Holy Trinity Sunday

1. Today we celebrate the feast of the Most Holy Trinity.

2. The Induction as Parish Priest of Fr. Savio de Sales will be on Sunday, 15th June by His Grace Archbishop John Rodrigues at the 6:00 pm mass.

3. The following Commissionings will be held on the next few Sundays:

i. Sunday, 22nd June at the 10.00 am Mass - Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

ii. Sunday, 29th June at the 10.00 am Mass - Heads of all Associations and Cells of the Parish

iii. Sunday, 06th July at the 8.30 am Mass - All Catechists will be commissioned

4. Since Sunday, 22nd June is the commissioning of the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, the list of the Extraordinary ministers is put up on the notice board for all to view and in case of any objections kindly bring it to the notice of the Parish priest latest by Thursday, 19th June.

5. Those couples who are expecting a child, are required to enrol themselves  for the pre-baptismal catechesis at least 3 months before the delivery. The godparents are also supposed to attend the catechesis meant for them. Kindly contact Fr. Shavito Correia to fix the dates for the catechesis.

6. All the youth are invited for a meeting soon after evening mass on Saturday, 14th June in the KG classroom.

7. Training Programmes conducted by the Diocese:

a. IMFE (Institute of Ministry of Faith Enrichment)

b. BIRD (Basics in Inter Religious Dialogue)

c. ALMC (Advanced Liturgy Ministry Course)

8. We begin Sunday School and Confirmation Classes from 15th June after the 08:30 a.m. mass.

9. Our youth will be setting up breakfast stalls every Sunday after the morning masses to gather funds for their Rome trip. Please patronize their stalls.

10. The Archdiocese is organizing the Deepen your Faith course for adults from Saturday, 28th June to Saturday, 29th November at St. Andrews college, Bandra. This year’s theme focuses on Pilgrims of Hope as we celebrate the Jubilee year. For more details, please see the notice board.

11. Admission to various colleges such as Don Bosco, St. Andrews and Sophia college for engineering, degree and other professional courses have started. The details of the same are put up on the notice board.

12. The Family Cell of St. John Bosco Church, Borivali (West) is organizing a programme for all eligible singles of marriageable age called ‘LILAC’ On Sunday, 13th July 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Last date for registration is Sunday, 29th June 2025. Please check the notice board for further details.

13. Priest of the parish will be available for confession every Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Church and also at any other time in the parish office or by appointment.

14. The collection on First Friday, 06th June was Rs. 7900/- and Sunday, 08th June was Rs. 33350/- The Sunday collection will go to the Bishop’s house for works of the Diocese. We thank you for your generosity.
