Announcements 07th December 2025

1. This Sunday we celebrate the Second Sunday of Advent.

2. JOY OF GIVING, a special outreach this Christmas that will help families of our Parish being assisted by the S.V.P. Envelopes have been placed on the Christmas Tree near the Confessional. You are requested to take an envelope; put in whatever contribution you want and drop the envelope in the Box marked JOY OF GIVING.

We appeal to your generosity.

3. Envelopes for your generous contributions towards the Advent Campaign for Hunger and Disease 2025 are placed on top of the Community Fund Box in the Church. The Official Circular of Archbishop John with details of the same are on the Church Notice Board.

4. Those parishioners who have registered their names for the Christmas get-together at the Catholic Gymkhana, kindly note that the bus will leave from outside the Church compound at 06:00 pm sharp on Thursday, 11th December.

5. The Christmas Bazaar will be held on our Church premises on 20th and 21st December. Booking of tables can be done at the Church Office. Parishioners will be charged ₹ 100 per table and non parishioners ₹ 200 a table.

6. Live Crib, Biblical events leading upto the Nativity of Christ, a presentation by the youth of our parish and the Neocatechumenal way, on Sunday 21st after the 06:00 pm mass in the undercroft (basement). Free entry for everyone.

7. There is a vacancy for a post of a teacher in Rosary High School Primary Section. Qualification - D.Ed and CTET part - 1 cleared. Kindly contact the primary office.

8. The online application forms for admission to Fr. Joseph K.G. (our Parish School) will be available on the website from 01st December 2025 to 30th December 2025.

Boys and girls who are born on 01st July 2021 to 31st December 2022 are eligible. For further details, kindly refer to the Banner at the Main gate of the Church Compound.

9. The Examiner Christmas Special colour magazine of the Archdiocese of Bombay will be published this year on 20th December, priced at ₹ 100/-. Those who would like to have a copy, please contact the parish office.

10. The Archdiocese of Bombay will celebrate the festival of Families on Sunday, 28th December 2025, from 09:00 am to 03:00 pm at Our Lady of Velankanni Shrine, Uttan. All families are invited. Our Parish will arrange a bus. Volunteers will take registrations after every Sunday mass.

Registration fee: ₹ 100 for adults, children below 5 years are free. Last date to register is 06th December. For more details check the notice board.

11. The youth of St. Anthony’s Church Vakola is organising a 2-day fete, Yuva Fiesta: A parish classic screening this December on 27th and 28th December 2025 after the evening Mass on those days. This event is open to people of all age groups. For further details kindly refer the notice board.

12. Don Bosco Matunga has started a project called DB-AVSAR to provide job placement support, training via a series of Seminars / Workshops for the youth. Please look up the notice board for further details.
