1. Today is the 4th Sunday of Lent, the readings of today invite us to acknowledge our blindness to sin and self-destruction and seek Christ healing in our lives
2. The Schedule of the Community Station of the Cross is 24th March - zone 4, 31st March - zone 1, and 2&3.
3. Those who have registered for the 2nd Pilgrimage on the 21st of March to the Dominican Spirituality Centre at Igatpuri. Kindly note, please be present at the Church at 6:00 am. The Busses will depart at 6:30 a.m. You can have your Breakfast or carry it with you. A simple vegetarian Lunch and Tea will be provided. Once we reach the spirituality Centre we will have a Lenten talk, followed by the stations of the Cross and then the Eucharist. Time will be given for silent prayer and adoration. After Lunch, we pray the Rosary before having tea and departing back to Dockyard. Please carry water and a Cap. Please confirm your seats on the list placed on the notice board.
4. The Final Pilgrimage is visiting 7 churches in the Bhandayar deanery and the shrine at Bhate Bunder (Uttan ). This is Scheduled for Wednesday 29th March - Please note the change of date necessitated because of the Chrism Mass on the 30th. Please register your selves with the Parish office. The registration fee is Rs 100. The last date for Registration is Sunday 26th March.
5. This a reminder for the free medical camp on Sunday 19th March from 10 am onwards. The camp included ECG, Cardiac care, diabetes check-up, bone density and eye check-up. The details are on the Banner put up on the Church’s main gate.
6. The Rosarian Youth group invites all the youth of our Parish for "Under the Stars 2.0" a night vigil which will commence on the 31st of March from 9.30 pm to 5.00 am. This is a special vigil for those in the age group of 15 years to 30 years and will help in understanding and participating more fully in the Easter Triduum. Requesting all youth to come in large numbers and register for the same. The registration fee is Rs. 50 per head.
7. We would like to conclude the Sunday school this year with a special interactive recollection which is scheduled for 26th March. We understand that exams are around the corner but this will be a short 2-hour program that will be both fun and faith-orientated. The Sunday School Teachers will update you on the details.
8. Confessions for Easter will be on the 3rd and 4th of April from 5 pm to 9 pm.
9. The Holy week Schedule will be displayed shortly on the Notice Board and will also be on the Church website.
10. Don Bosco College for Hospitality Studies has opened admission for the year 2023-2024. Please look up the notice board for details.
11. The Box Collection is Rs.9495/- A special donation for the Girl Child, given by Joyce Dsilva for Rs 25,000/- and the Sunday collection on 12th March was Rs 35910/-Collection We thank you for your generosity.
