bombay catholic sabha

The Bombay Catholic Sabha stands committed to its mandate of leading the laity in Civic, Political and Social activities. Its vision statement is to create a just society through involvement in socio, civic and political affairs. The new area, into which the Bombay Catholic Sabha has decided to venture into, is Empowering Christian youth to enter into Civil Services.
The Rosary Church unit was formed on July 28, 1996, under the Chairmanship of Ms. Antoinette Vaz and 26 Managing Committee Members who actively involved themselves to bring up the Unit. Our Unit members were instrumental in starting the Bombay Catholic Sabha in the neighbouring Parishes.
The activities of the Bombay Catholic Sabha are broadly categorised as: standing up for rights, civic activities, political activities, social activities, environment protection, inter-religious dialogue and communal harmony, government minority schemes, BCS help desk and youth related activities.
